How long does it take to set up a LineTest system and start working?
LineTest is the ideal tool if you want to be up & running immediately.
It is a really easy-to-set-up system: connect the video camera to
the video input of your PC; mount the camera on the copy stand;
turn everything on and start grabbing drawings.

How complex and long is the acquire session of the pencil test?
Grabbing levels is a streamlined process: you just place drawings
under the camera and click the Grab button.
Drawings are automatically placed in the exposure sheet and saved
on disk in the right place thanks to a versatile production managing
system.

Can I save the results of my pencil tests?
Yes, and when you want to save a pencil test you can choose different
formats: you can save it as a QuickTime movie, as an Avi file, or
as a vector-based Macromedia Flash animation.

Is LineTest fully compatible with Toonz?
Yes, it is fully compatible, this means that the .xsh files produced
with Linetest can be loaded and edit in Toonz, so that the work
done to build the scene during the pencil test is not lost!
The xsheet you create in LineTest can then be used inside Toonz
Xsheet to start an xsheet-driven scanning session.

Can LineTest run without Toonz?
LineTest is absolutely indipendent from Toonz: this means that it
can run without it.
