Toonz Harlequin and Toonz Bravo require a component of the Mac OS X, called X11, to be installed on your computer. X11 by default is not installed with Mac OS X, but you can retrieve it on the Mac OS X Install disc.

To check if X11 is installed on your computer:
Navigate to Applications/Utilities, and check if X11 is available among installed utilities.

To install X11:
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install Disc and double-click Optional Installs: the installer opens.
2. In the Installation Type dialog, open Applications and in the list that opens check X11.
3. Click the Install button: the X11 installation starts.
4. In the Finish Up dialog click the Close button.
