Colourland s.r.l. is an Italian studio specialized in digital colouring and compositing for animated films.

It was established in 1996, but it can count on its members' mature experience in the fields of special optical effects for commercials and feature films, shooting of traditional animated films and combination of cartoon and real life pictures.

Colourland has been taking part in the creation of the animated film "Aida of the trees", a "La Lanterna Magica" production.

Aida of the trees",talks about the love story between Aida, brave daughter of the king of Arborea and Radames, the son of the enemy - the General of the Army of Petra. Their love is opposed by Ramfis, the priest of Petra, who tries to come to the throne of Petra. It is an amazing film, made in a very professional way, availing of the soundtrack of the Master, Ennio Morricone.

Thanks to 7 NT workstations enabled both to digital colouring and to the creation of special effects for animated films, Colourland can study personalized solutions for any kind of product and need.
Since its foundation, Colourland has been taking part in a wide range of projects, both national and international, including animated series like Lupo Alberto, Corto Maltese, Cocco Bill, Stefi, pilot films like Anna's Tales, Prezzemolo, Barking out loud, Crocerossina Pat, Tutti con Alex, Geronimo Stilton and animated feature film like "La Gabbianella e il Gatto", "Aida" and
"Johan Padan".
